لندن – حصلت المهندسة المعمارية السورية هبة الراضي على جائزة “إنجازات متميزة رغم الظروف”، التي تمنحها منظمة “Women in Construction” للمتميزين في مجال الهندسة في المملكة المتحدة، بعد أن أدهشت الجميع بإنجازها الفريد.
ويعد هذا الإنجاز استثنائيًا، إذ تم تكريمها بعد أربع سنوات فقط من وصولها إلى بريطانيا.
تهدف هذه الجائزة إلى دعم وتشجيع النساء العاملات في ميدان الهندسة في المملكة المتحدة، وتمنح للأفراد الذين يحققون إنجازات ملموسة في ظل ظروف صعبة. وفي هذا العام، تم توسيع نطاق المرشحين للجائزة ليشمل جميع العاملين في المجال الهندسي الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 35 عامًا، بغض النظر عن جنسهم.
الراضي، التي تم اختيارها كمرشحة للجائزة، تغلبت على التحديات الكبيرة التي واجهتها في حياتها، سواء في سوريا أو أثناء رحلة الهجرة، التي شهدت معاناة وصعوبات كبيرة، مثل النوم في الغابات والاستعانة بمياه النهر والعشب وأوراق الأشجار للبقاء على قيد الحياة.
وبالرغم من كل هذه المصاعب، استطاعت الراضي التغلب عليها بسرعة وكفاءة. حصلت على تأشيرة الإقامة في بريطانيا في وقت قياسي، ووظفت في إحدى شركات البناء. وحتى الآن، قدمت تصميم وتنفيذ حوالي 25 مبنى في المملكة المتحدة، مبرهنة على قدرتها على كسر الصورة النمطية عن اللاجئين، وأن الظروف الصعبة التي يمرون بها لا تمنعهم من الابداع والتميز.
